Let's S A L S A ........
S.A.L.S.A. - Self-Awareness Leads to
Success and Achievement, is a mentoring program designed to provide young girls between the ages of 8-15 years
of age moral and social skill sets that can weave into their everday interaction with friends, family, teachers, and
community which will enable them to make successful passage into womanhood.
The program focuses on the six building blocks for
life--Respect, Attitude, Responsibility, Family, Health and Sisterhood. These blocks are inseparable parts of a complete
attitude that will help them to learn to think critically so that they can evaluate their own decisions. The objective
of the program is to raise a level of character awareness by providing functional methods to develop personal integrity, enhance
