Sisterfriends of Oklahoma   Our Mission is to promote unity in bringing women together to build friendships, strengthen Sisterhood and to help women and children overcome challenges affecting their quality of life through health awareness education, tutoring and mentorship programs.

	Sisterfriends of Oklahoma Our Focus               Community                     Building Relationships       To provide services relating to health education, prevention and screening, community outreach, empowerment and mentorship programs while participating in the ongoing celebration of Sisterfriends' spirit and camaraderie.   Our community programs include:  teens coping with incarcerated parents; mentor programs to encourage positive behavior and prevent teen pregnancy, drug and alcohol abuse and tutoring to excel scholastically; women's health issues to include education on domestic violence, AIDS awareness, and other community health issues.         We work to develop and maintain relationships with organizations such as YWCA of Oklahoma City, a crisis service provider for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, Guiding Right, Inc., an AIDS testing, support and counseling agency along with other resource agencies, schools, churches, businesses and community organizations to provide emotional and spiritual growth.
